That publication will include more detailed treatment of the old Philotheite katholikon, and an analysis of the evidence of the Anonymous Philotheïtis-materials that could not be included m this presentation version due to the time limits required for presentations at the Scientific Workshop. I have posted this version to Academia.edu with permission of the Mount Athos Center in order to invite comments, which can be sent via my email address, below. I would welcome especially suggestions regarding the age and likely methods of construction of the old katholikon of Philotheou.
